Experiencing good music is a lot like finding good sushi.  You can spend a little money to have it served up to perfection by professionals, but you can also stumble across it, in all its raw and savory glory, in the most unexpected places.  Music has that strange way of showing up in unfamiliar guises – the mariachi band at the local diner, the bathroom baritone that you can hear down the street, the guy who thinks no one is looking while he karaokes during the morning commute.  Like sunsets and the sense of taste, music is a gift from God that reminds us, perhaps, that despite all the madness, we’re still somehow blessed on this planet.

I've been around music my whole life, and its become a second language to me - a way to express things that words can't possibly contain.  As a violinist, I’ve cherished every moment on the concert stage, but I’ve also found outrageous fun in jamming with church bands, reading chamber music in living rooms, and improvising to Super Mario Brothers in three part harmony.  Now life can get busy – and I certainly spend more time at my day job than I do with bands and music stands.  But music, in all its odd shapes, is still part and parcel in my life.  This site is my attempt to share a little of my music with you.  Browse around, enjoy, and go make some music of your own…
